Camps & Clinics

Fine tune your hockey skills with professional instruction for all age levels! The skills clinics are a great way to continue your development both in-season and out. Our coaches will focus on power skating, shooting, game concepts and more to keep you ready to go when the puck drops!

Next season is now! Shake off the rust and get ready to go at our pre-season tune up camp.

The 8U/10U camp will be run by Jack Bortle alongside a select group of Generals alumni.

The 12U/JV sessions will be run by Coach Rob Sangster.

Each age level will receive four hours of on ice instruction and eighty minutes of dry land training over the course of the two day camp.

Jack Bortle

Playing Career: Newark Generals Varsity (2x State Champion, National Semi-Finalist); Three years of Junior Hockey; Current NCAA D3 player.

Coaching Career: Five years of skills coaching players at all youth levels.

Rob Sangster 

Playing Career: Coach Sangster played in four leagues over the course of his career including with the Columbus Chill in the ECHL and both the Kitchener Rangers and Ottawa 67's of the OHL. 

Coaching Career: Coach Sangster was recently named as the new Head Coach for St. Francis DeSales High School in addition to working as the Newark Generals Head Skills Coach. He previously racked up 250 wins as the Head Coach for the St Charles Cardinals.
