Mixing age groups exposes players to a wider range of skill levels, playing styles, and strategies. This diversity challenges them to adapt and improve their skills in different contexts. Older players can serve as role models and mentors for younger ones, fostering leadership skills and a sense of responsibility. Younger players may gain inspiration and guidance from their older peers. Practice games in mixed youth age groups enrich players' hockey experience by promoting skill development, teamwork, adaptability, and a sense of camaraderie that extends beyond their immediate age group.

3 on 3 cross ice
Youth hockey 3 on 3 cross ice preseason program offers several benefits. It helps players develop their skills in a smaller playing area, promoting faster decision-making, agility, and puck control. It also increases the number of puck touches for each player, leading to more active participation and skill refinement. Additionally, the reduced player count allows more engagement in the play which can boost players' confidence and overall development. Overall, the program enhances players' fundamental skills and prepares them for full-ice play during the regular season.
Games
Each age group will have 4 game times available for this preseason warmup program. Ice time is 50 minutes

Games will be played going cross ice. There will be 2 simultaneous 3v3 ice games, separated by the Neutral zone using buffer pads. Games will consist of grouped players according to age group playing uptempo, loose, and fun games for 50 minutes.

7 skaters per team max, no goalies - $285
( $50 per player for 4 games )
Limit 14 registered skaters for each age grouping. 4 games played between August 14th and August 30th. Spots will fill fast do not delay in registering!
